WATERVILLE, Maine 鈥?A local woman has been arrested in connection with stabbing that sent one man to the hospital Tuesday evening, police said.Ashley Boivin, 32, a neighbor of the victim, was arrested Wednesday afternoon at 12:30 without incident, according to Waterville Deputy Ch polene sac ief William Bonney.Bonney said the incident occurred on Moor Street around 6 p.m.The victim, a 21-year-old man, had been stabbed in the stomach but was conscious and alert when police arrived, according to Bonney. His injuries were not considered life-threatening.After investigation, police determined the suspect was Boivin, Bonney saidA verbal altercation in the street between numerous parties led to the incident, and Boivin allegedly became involved, then the situation escalated into a physical confrontation.Bonney said Boivin fled the scene after the stabb brumate cooler ing but was taken into custody without incident Wednesday.
