Air Hong Kong has selected the General Electric CF6-80C2 engine to power its future fleet of Airbus A300-600 freighters over the rival Pratt Whitney offering. The Cathay Pacific Airways subsidiary firmed up a deal with Airbus in March for six A300-600Fs, with options on four more.
